Charles Stanley's Charity of the Year


Each year Charles Stanley supports a charity that has been nominated by and voted for its staff.

2009/10 - sees the firm supporting Leukaemia Research: The Riley Cameron Forget-Me-Not Fund. Fundraising is off to a good start and the team are hoping to raise £10,000 through the course of the year.

2008/9 - the firm supported Headway: The Brain Injury Association. The Court of Protection team have a close relationship with this charity and held the fundraising 'baton' for the year. Staff raised over £13,500 for the charity through a number of events including a London to Paris bike ride. The Company gave additional funds bringing the total donation to £25,000.

2007/8 - the Charity of the Year was the Friends of the Neonatal Unit (FNNU) at St. George's Hospital, London. Staff worked tirelessly to raise funds for this charity with events ranging from sponsored runs to go-karting and a knit-a-thon. At the end of the year staff could see just how much their efforts had paid off, as £15,000 had been raised. This sum was matched by the Company bringing the total donation to the FNNU to a staggering £30,000.

Other charitable donations - In addition to our Charity of the Year we undertake a number of other charitable activities, including the donation of redundant computers to the Katete Boarding School in Zambia.
